Fred Hollander, FACHE – Managing Director
Fred Hollander is a Managing Director at Foley Proctor Yoskowitz. His career includes nearly twenty years in healthcare executive search, following substantial experience in hospital management. Mr. Hollander held key roles such as Managing Director, Executive Vice President and Principal at several national and regional healthcare recruiting firms prior to joining FPY. He has recruited a wide range of executive positions including Chief Executive Officers, a broad array of Administrators, Vice Presidents and Development Officers, as well as Clinical Chairpersons and key department directors.

His healthcare management background includes serving as the Chief Operating Officer of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, and as Associate Administrator at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He was a key participant in the development and management of United Hospitals, a four-division, non-profit multi-hospital system in the Philadelphia, and served as Chief Executive Officer of its largest facility.

Mr. Hollander holds a Master of Science degree in Hospital Administration from Columbia University School of Public Health, and a BA in English from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has held adjunct faculty appointments for the Graduate Program in Health Administration at St. Joseph’s University and in the associated faculty of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

Mr. Hollander is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and served as the Regent for ACHE’s Southeastern Pennsylvania region, where he received the 2002 ACHE Senior Level Hospital Executive Regent’s Award. He has also worked as a member of a number of committees for the Healthcare Leadership Development Network of the Delaware Valley.
